Hi there.
The subject title is pretty clear. At each login I have to manually change the keyboard layout from en_US to es_ES (which is the default as per configuration, working smooth in 3.14). A workaround is to delete the en_US layout from the keyboard layout configuration. Not critical, but disturbing.
I'm not sure if the problem comes from Archlinux' binaries or upstream, but filled a bug 'cause it looks like a regressive one.
Cheers.

I quote a secondary comment I've added to the bug thread above and mark this as solve.
I have realized that Gnome 3.16 has introduced a new tab at the keyboard configuration for the input layout of gdm that I was not aware of. After proper configuration, the input layout at gdm works as expected. However, now I do not understand how my previous workaround was solving the problem since I was changing the user configuration and not gdm's. Also, is it advisable that any user can change gdm's layout configuration? I consider this as resolved, but I stressed out that something may be not working properly. Thx.

I'm also affected by this bug. (Arch+GNOME Shell 3.16.1) Since the bug is still present, can you please remove the "[SOLVED]" part from the tittle of this post ?
I'll update your bug report on bugzilla.
Gracias
