Plugging in flash drive drops wifi...

Subject explains the basics...  but this issue doesn't happen with SD cards, or USB bluetooth adaptors... so I'm thinking it's specific to USB Flash/hard drives at the moment. From asking questions and sharing my dmesg on the IRC channel:

[ 7524.943662] iwlwifi 0000:02:00.0: RF_KILL bit toggled to disable radio.
[ 7524.944160] wls1: deauthenticating from 06:18:1a:df:60:c0 by local choice (Reason: 3=DEAUTH_LEAVING)

Which I was told that "it looks like something is telling it to disable the radio and it doesn't wanna do that. so it's disassociating from the AP...it's reassociating before the drive even gets assigned a letter"

I'm currently using Network Manager with nm-applet.

For reference: my dmesg...

Also, this issue is inconsistent... it happens almost all the time, but not quite. I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this one.
