Hey everyone,
Yesterday I found my old Wii and decided to first try to make something cool out of it instead of just throwing it right away.
So I hooked my Wii to my tv again and I jailbroke my it with Letterbomb and installed the Homebrew Channel.
Then I installed "Wiivnc" which is a vnc client for your Wii.
I want to control the pc upstairs which is running Antergos (Which in a way is an arch installer) with my Wii, so I installed tigervnc on my computer and ran the server.
At this point I could connect and saw a terminal. I also could control my pc but didn't see anything on the Wii except the terminal saying that for example a chromium window had been opened.
Well I had a look at the arch vnc wiki and added these lines to .vnc/xstartup so I could see a graphical interface:
export XKL_XMODMAP_DISABLE=1
exec gnome-session
But now I see all black + working crusor. Not even a terminal. So can you guys help me? btw I am quite a newbie
Oh and I found this site https://support.realvnc.com/Knowledgeba … vnc-server
So maybe it has something to do with the switch mode or intel?
I am running
Antergos
4.0.5-1-ARCH
with
Intel® Core™ i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz × 4
GNOME Shell 3.16.2
Thanks in advance

Antergos != Arch
CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck • AUR packages • Zsh and other configs

Well you're correct but it kind of works as graphical arch installer.
Also the archlinux community is far greater than the antergos one so I thought I would have more luck asking the question here.
And btw I doubt it has anything to do with arch not exactly being antergos since all info on the arch wiki applies to antergos with no problems. But if you think otherwise let me know
