wifi not working after suspend in plasma 5

I'm using plasma 5 as my DE. After every suspend, wifi doesn't work. To make the wifi work, i have to manually forget the ssid and then again enter the password each time. This happens also if i restart the machine.
Mine is a broadcomm wireless adapter.
drivers installed:

b43-firmware 6.30.163.46-1
b43-fwcutter 019-1

I have the exact same problem. It was happening when i had gnome 3.16 installed too. I think its not a plasma issue.

I'm connecting through an usb wireless adapter, TP-LINK because my Qualcomm Killer n1525 is not yet supported by the kernel.
