Hi all,
I've just installed Arch few days ago, everything works like a charm, but i've a little issue.
I'm on KDE Plasma 5.3.2 with networkmanager.
If I set a static ip for my wifi adapter, network works flawlessy.
But if I set in dhcp mode, I'm experiencing something odd:
$ networkctl status
State: n/a
Address: 192.168.1.66 on wlp8s0
192.168.1.67 on wlp8s0
Gateway: 192.168.1.254 on wlp8s0
192.168.1.254 on wlp8s0
In addition to this, when set in dhcp it losts connection randomly after a while, I must restart networkmanager to able to connect again, if I don't it can't see the AP (only the one which was connected).
I've tested with others AP, same issue. I've tried Kubuntu 15.10 for a quick test (to exlude my fualts) same issue.
When the disconnection happens dmesg:
authenticate with ap:ma:ca:dd:re:ss
[ 481.883725] wlp8s0: send auth to ap:ma:ca:dd:re:ss (try 1/3)
[ 481.987747] wlp8s0: send auth to ap:ma:ca:dd:re:ss (try 2/3)

[ 482.164353] wlp8s0: authentication with ap:ma:ca:dd:re:ss timed out
When reconnect:

I've a Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter
Any ideas? I was unable to find something useful or someone experiencing something similar.
I can stay on static ip, but i'd like to know why it happens.
Thx

Well I've already tested with another AP but from the same brand (thomson)... now I've tested with another one, dfferent brand... Everything is ok.
I don't know if I can mark the post as solved, however it seems odd.
