[SOLVED] Blocked ports ? (Teamspeak, PvP.net)

Hello !
I have a problem with my ArchLinux install (which is 30 days old).
I cannot connect to a Teamspeak server, and I cannot connect to the PvP.net server of League of Legends on a Windows virtual machine.
I believe it's a problem about blocked ports. I use iptables so I deactivated it, but it doesn't change anything. I use dnsmasq too, but I think it's unrelated.
I used Teamspeak like 2 weeks ago, and it worked; but I can't remember if I installed something or... I don't know.

If you have any ideas, it would be really appreciated !! Thank you ! smile

Is the host behind a router?  Do you own that router?
Is does the host provide NAT forwarding, or does it provide a bridge?
What are you using for visualization?

Re: [SOLVED] Blocked ports ? (Teamspeak, PvP.net)

Thanks for the reply. I use Teamspeak on my host system (Arch) ; and League of Legends through Virtualbox (it was unclear).
So I am using Virtualbox for virtualization. Everything works fine (League of Legends updates works) but I can't login to the game...

My computer is behind a router (to access to the internet, I guess that's what you mean) but there are no problems for other devices on the same network.
Virtualbox provides NAT for the guest system ; my problem is not related to Virtualbox but to my Arch system.

Oh my god. I activated something some days ago in my router's config and i just noticed that this was blocking many ports... I feel so dumb.

Anyway, thank you for the reply....
