Unable to setup Apache MediaWiki SQLite-database

I have followed instructions in wiki related MediaWiki, Apache, SQLite and PHP, however my MediaWiki-installation fails to database-selection where I only have SQLite available, as intended. Regardless of adding ownership to http:http and allowing all rights as suggested the error remains.
