[SOLVED] WLAN turned off when ethernet cable plugged in

Hi. I'm using NetworkManager. I want my system to stop turning off WiFi when I plug in ethernet cable, because I want to share internet connection over WiFi.
Here is what I tried already:
I made NetworkManager stop managing my wlan0, so

nmcli dev status

returns

wlan0 wifi unmanaged

.
I saw

systemd[1]: Starting Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status...
NetworkManager[29676]: <info>  WiFi now enabled by radio killswitch
systemd[1]: Started Load/Save RF Kill Switch Status.

in the journal, so I also stopped systemd-rfkill, to no avail

Welcome to Arch Linux

Are you committed to NetworkManager? or are you willing to consider a different approach?
As to NetworkManager, I'd have left it in charge of the Wireless.  Re-enable rfkill.  Tell NetworkManager to keep its hands off of the wired interface.

But...  Are you plugging in using the wired network to the same subnet to which the wireless network belongs?  If so, there are some other considerations.

I like NetworkManager for several reasons. How would it help if I told it not to touch wired interface? The problem is wireless interface, which NetworkManager doesn't manage already. The wireless network doesn't have any subnets yet, it's not even up when the cable is plugged.

Just occurred to me that it might be a BIOS setting. Indeed it was, called "LAN/WLAN switching". So NetworkManager is not to blame. Marking as solved
