ssh as a HTTP proxy rather than a SOCKS one

Hey,

I'm forced to tunnel all communication through ssh.
I'm using "ssh -C -D 8080 me@server" which works fine for all clients that supports SOCKS (browsers etc..)
however, for gradle (in android studio context), it seems that only an HTTP proxy is available ("HTTP CONNECT" etc..)
I was wondering if there's a way to make ssh respond to that, or an easy by pass (like a an HTTP proxy to SOCKS..)

I never tried myself, but from what i know, DeleGate can do this.

Looks like delegate might be more powerful than squid.
