[Solved] Wifi suddenly stops working

Hi guys, I am an absolute beginner and I have read the wiki and almost every forum post I have came across but still I cannot fix the problem since I do not understand what it is.
I am having trouble with connecting my network with wifi,however, I am able to establish the connection with ethernet. When I try to connect it just keeps asking me the password in an infinite loop. I tried deleting the netctl profile but it did not change anything. My interface is named wlp8s0, when I try "systemctl start netctl@wlp8s0.service" it just gives me this error "Job for netctl@wlp8s0.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status netctl@wlp8s0.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.".

Also, I cannot connect using wifi-menu, it gives me this error "Interface 'wlp8s0' is controlled by netctl-auto WPA association/authentication failed for interface 'wlp8s0'"

Here is the output of systemctl status netctl@wlp8s0.service;

"netctl@wlp8s0.service - Networking for netctl profile wlp8s0 Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/netctl@.service; static; vendor preset: disabled) Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Wed 2016-02-17 15:35:09 EET; 6min ago Docs: man:netctl.profile(5) Process: 7953 ExecStart=/usr/lib/network/network start %I (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Main PID: 7953 (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)

Feb 17 15:35:09 pc network[7953]: Profile 'wlp8s0' does not exist or is not readable Feb 17 15:35:09 pc systemd[1]: netctl@wlp8s0.service: Main process exited, code=exited, status=1/FAILURE Feb 17 15:35:09 pc systemd[1]: Failed to start Networking for netctl profile wlp8s0. Thanks in advance.

Re: [Solved] Wifi suddenly stops working

Have you enabled and started Network Manager? That and wifi-menu conflict. You'll have to stop Network Manager to use wifi-menu.
What program/DE are you using where the password check loops?

I think I know enough to know I don't know enough.

Re: [Solved] Wifi suddenly stops working

I was able to solve the issue by disabling netctl using the "systemctl | grep netctl" command to see the service and disabling it. Thank you.

Re: [Solved] Wifi suddenly stops working

When you say it keeps asking for a password, what program keeps asking? Is this wifi-menu, or a graphical program?
Edit; 5 seconds post difference. Glad the issue's solved.
