Hello all. I'm trying to move some files from my laptop running Arch Linux to my Windows 10 PC. I created a share on the Windows 10 PC and gave my Microsoft account permission to the share. I am trying to access it from Arch and am unable to mount the share. Since it uses my Microsoft account, I am giving it the credentials xxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com with my Microsoft password. These are the credentials that work when I RPD into the machine. But they're not working from Arch.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?
The obvious solution is to put Arch on the PC and be done with it. Unfortunately, that is not an option, since the kids needs that PC for school, and they use it for gaming.
EDIT: Using Gnome and trying to do it from Nautilus.

What is the error message you are getting?
Side note: An easy alternative would be to use something like WinSCP or Filezilla client from windows and copy files from the Arch machine using ssh.

No error, just reprompts me for my password over and over again.
Filezilla is a good idea. I totally forgot about that.

It seems to me that these new versions of Windows only properly accept Homegroups and probably AD. Try giving permission to "Everyone" to access the share from Windows, and then going to network settings and turning off passwords for file and folder sharing as a workaround.
