I'm working on a project where i'm trying to monitor SMTP traffic. I'm working on configuring a postfix to receive mail and forward to localhost. mail will be received on localhost and forwarded to dev null. Really not looking to keep any of the mail. I'm going to have Suricata monitor loopback address to analyze unencrypted traffic.
What's the best way to receive on one interface, forward to loopback (or other port) unencrypted, and forward traffic to dev null?
