Another 3CRWE154G72 problem

Ok, after been trying to get this card to work for about 5days now ive almoste given up. i have been searching and searching on the net and following different guides but nothing seems to work.

I use the 2.4.32 kernel.
I got 2 different cards. one version1.0 and one version2.0
I have been trying with prism54 and with ndiswrapper.

With prism54 i can get the v1.0 card to show up if i do 'iwconfig' but it says 'NOT READY!'.
When i do 'ifconfig eth1 up' it says 'SIOSIFFFLAGS: No such file or directory'

Thats about the farthest ive come.
I then tried with ndiswrapper. removed prism54, did
'pacman -Sy ndiswrapper'
upgraded it and installed it with some locale problems which i solved.
got the drivers from the 3com CD and did
'ndiswrapper -i file.INI'
'ndiswrapper -l'
'ndiswrapper -m'
'depmod -a'

but when i do 'modprobe ndiswrapper' it says
'can't not locate the module ndiswrapper'

OK, no worries. I then downloaded the source and did 'make uninstall' to remove the current version and did 'make' but it just print out errors:
'/lib/modules/2.4.32/build/include/asm/byteorder.h:14: warning type qualifiers ignored for functions of return'
or something like that (can check it up if needed)
and it prints out:
make[1]: *** [hal.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/ndiswrapper-1.16/driver´
make: *** [all] Error 2

So i now come to you guys. What todo? I cant just give up now....

my dear friend nalle helped me out, he may add the solution if wanted

Glad you're up and running, but I don't think you should mark the thread SOLVED if it doesn't actually include the solution.

thnx! i can finally get some sleep smile
noted and fixed the solved-issue. ill get him to write down what he did tomorrow so we can learn something about it. one thing that ive noticed the past days is how many there are that have problems with these cards and some who just seems to get it to work properly the first time.
