postfix with virtual_alias_maps
I have a problem i am trying to setup my virtual alias and not geting it to work 100% dont know if i am doing any thing wrong but this is how it is:
I made a alias for the mail "kiwi@parsisp.net keivan@parsisp.com" in virtual and it works since i have parsisp.com and .net in my dns and keivan is a account on the box.
but changing the virtual line to "kiwi@parsisp.net keivan.shahin@gmail.com"
does not work for some reason.

should be forwarding to keivan.shanin instead of keivan
after you made the alias modification, did you rebuild the alias db for postfix?
postalias I think.. can't remember the syntax offhand, and I am not at a box with postfix on it right now.

its virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual, and every time i change in virtual i do postmap virtual with out any errors, so in virtual i have used:
"kiwi@parsisp.net keivan.shahin@gmail.com" with not geting main on gmail.com
"kiwi@parsisp.net keivan@parsisp.com" with geting mail to my localbox on the server

Never mind, it seams its not possible to mail from gmail to a forward virtual that is pointed to the same gmail account. but it worked when i mailed from another mail to the forward virtual alias.
