[Wayland] Issue with libreoffice and gtk dark theme (SOLVED)

Hello, i just installed numix-themes but I have a problem with libreoffice.
Indeed, the menu is invisible : https://github.com/numixproject/numix-g … issues/397 (not my thread but i have the same rendering)

I uncommented the line : export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk (i tried gen too) in the file /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-still.sh
Then I executed the file, but it's not working.

I tried under xorg and I didn't get any problem.

How to fix the bug under Wayland ?

Thank you ;-)

P.S : I have GNOME 3.20

Have you tried to run it like,

SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk libreoffice

If it works for you then you need to set the environmental variable.

The command line works.
I also tried "export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk" in the term and it's working (only if I execute libreoffice from the terminal)

But how can i do that permanently ?

Thank you ;-)

If I write "export SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gtk" in .bashrc and I execute libreoffice in the terminal it works, it doesn't when i click on the libreoffice icon.

It doesn't work with .bash_profile

Reboot first.  If still a no go...

Try adding to .xprofile and reboot

Or use the already prepared .sh files in /etc/profile.d for a mostly shell independent location

Didn't read OP closely enough sorry, what about /etc/environment? still strange why are the usual suspects not sourced?

As a side note. I was plagued by an ugly libreoffice for ages until I realized this environment variable. Lol. Enjoy a beautiful libreoffice.

Still /etc/profile.d should be sourced on login... do you use GDM by chance? maybe it special snowflakes in in this case roll

FWIW, the problem is that Wayland currently does not source /etc/profile ,/etc/profile.d/*, or anything related.
