i had this too, long ago.
the preffered application of files was anjuta.
i don't remember if ichanged it in the settings or it was a bug that had been fixed later.

I went to Settings -> Details -> Default Application but there is nothing there on this topic...
I searched the net to change default applications but i didn't find nothing relevant...

A folder.
In JDownloder "Open Dopwnload Directory"
In MonoDevelop, right click on a project and "Open Containing Folder"
And so on...
