Streamable WebDAV filesystem layer

Hi all,

so I've added WebDAV endpoints to some of my storage servers and wanted to make them mountable. Everything worked quite straightforward with davfs2 until I tried to open a larger file and noticed a very large delay in opening. Apparently davfs2 retrieves a local copy of each file before actually surfacing it on the filesystem (this is also noted in mount.davfs's mangape).

So having no hope of getting that working I tried fusedav from the AUR, which (after making it compile) doesn't work at all, not even giving debug output...

Does the community know of any other options of mounting DAV filesystems?

PS: I know that the DAV endpoint supports streaming files, that works on direct accesss and over nautilus' DAV interface.

Thanks,
k
