Hi everyone,
After updating my system, I have the problem that fonts in my terminal and "code" fonts (text marked as code in markdown, for example) are displayed as wingdings/glyphs.
It's easiest to just take a look at the problem via this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/2o8Amo6.png
Anyone know what's going on or how to fix it? I'm at work, so I'd like to get it fixed ASAP, but I'm having difficulty troubleshooting when everything is coming out as wingdings
Thanks for any help!
EDIT: it seems that vim is effected (affected? infected?) as well. It's safe to say this is a system-wide issue, probably with fonts.
second edit: solved. install a monospace font as per jason's suggestion.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for your response. I did search, but I couldn't find anything - could you suggest a query that would give me good results?
edit: a bit of searching and I found these two posts (one of them by you, jason):
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions … how-to-fix
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions … rk-systemd
However, nothing has changed (except the console font of the arch login screen)
