Too much module loaded [solved]

Hello!

I try to install archlinux 0.7.2 on my girlfriend computer.
This is a HP P III 1000mhz.

I use autoload for the first time. On my own computer, I have a custom kernel and I load mannually the need modules.

On this pc, when I check the module, a lot of them are not needed.
Here the lsmod, sorry this is huge!

Re: Too much module loaded [solved]

Check your kernel .config.Make more of modules to be loadable not included in the kernel or if you are sure i will never use them simply disabled it:)

Re: Too much module loaded [solved]

Insane-boy , i think Shaika-Dzari is using a stock kernel with initrd on the P3 pc.

Shaika-Dzari, if that's the case, you can reduce the number of modules by tweaking initrd.
wiki entry for Initrd

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
