Hello!
I try to install archlinux 0.7.2 on my girlfriend computer.
This is a HP P III 1000mhz.
Here some info:

I use autoload for the first time. On my own computer, I have a custom kernel and I load mannually the need modules.
On this pc, when I check the module, a lot of them are not needed.

Check your kernel .config.Make more of modules to be loadable not included in the kernel or if you are sure i will never use them simply disabled it:)

Insane-boy , i think Shaika-Dzari is using a stock kernel with initrd on the P3 pc.
Shaika-Dzari, if that's the case, you can reduce the number of modules by tweaking initrd.

yup, it's safe in most cases. i use it on all my boxen and never had any real trouble.
