I'm currently using MuPDF and it's really great, but I miss a bar with some common usefull information about the document et cetera. I also tried Zathura once, and I really liked that one - but it requires GTK3, which I really don't like.
I have tried several alternatives found in the repositories and several recommendations from various threads here, but I have yet to find a Vi-like PDF reader with a minimal UI and small dependencies. Perhaps what I'm looking for doesn't even exist? ![]()

I've used apvlv for years, with no complaints. It is Gtk3, though...

Oh, bummer. Thank you for the (very quick) reply though!

I use llpp, which is based on MuPDF. Building it was a bit of work but it is pretty fast, and has vim-like keyboard shortcuts.

Thank you! I have tried it a bit now and it seems okay. I have to rebind a few keys, figure out how to make the bar persistent and how I can get the font less blurry (or perhaps figure out how to use Terminus). ![]()
