Has anyone else been having issues with Cinnamon crashing from the readline update?

Yeah crashes on me too, and can't downgrade to previous version due to broken dependencies.

Same, it just loads the background image and nothing else, and then just freezes. no mouse, but I can cntrl-alt-f6 to a prompt, so the keyboard isn't frozen. I'm typing this from i3.

Yeah, I was able to get my dropdown terminal to come down. Can't enter text in it though.
