xterm + i3 does not use correct color scheme

Hey guys,

since the last update I have a very annoying problem with i3 and xterm.

My .Xdefaults file is as follows:

XTerm*foreground: rgb:b2/b2/b2
XTerm*background: rgb:08/08/08
XTerm*color0: rgb:28/28/28

This should result in a black background and white foreground (more or less).

However, when I start xterm with "Alt + Enter" the background is white and the foreground is black (I think those are xterm's defaults). Starting xterm with dmenu or by typing xterm in the terminal works just fine.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Try using "xterm" in .Xdefaults instead of "XTerm"

How are you starting i3?
