I am not looking for a way to get 2 IP addresses on one NIC, but rather for a solution to get rid of them.
[user1@T1700 ~]$ ip addr
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default qlen 1
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 ::1/128 scope host
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
2: eno1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP group default qlen 1000
link/ether [MAC here] brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.10.7/24 brd 192.168.10.255 scope global dynamic eno1
valid_lft 86306sec preferred_lft 86306sec
inet 192.168.10.8/24 brd 192.168.10.255 scope global secondary eno1
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 [IP V6 here]/64 scope global noprefixroute dynamic
valid_lft 2591911sec preferred_lft 604711sec
inet6 [IP V6 here]/64 scope global mngtmpaddr noprefixroute dynamic
valid_lft 2591908sec preferred_lft 604708sec
inet6 [IP V6 here]/64 scope link
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
[user1@T1700 ~]$
As you can see, this machine gets both192.168.10.7 and 192.168.10.8.
Is there any reason for that? Anybody knows how to permanently remove one of these IPs?
Thanks in advance

How do you set up network on this interface? Do you use netctl or something similar?

It seems like dhcpcd and networkmanager were both active. I have since disabled dhcpcd, but the problem persists.
ip addr flush eno1 and a restart of the network manager gets rid of the static IP address but it will come back after the next reboot.
UPDATE:
"sudo ip link set eno1 down && sudo ip link set eno1 up" gets rid of the strange "scope global secondary eno1" entry mentioned above.
Restarting NetworkManager is also fine, same as logging out from the DE and back in.
But as soon as I reboot the machine, It gets the "scope global secondary eno1" again. I have checked all services in systemctl but there's nothing running except for NetworkManager.
