Any hope for The Bard's Tale (2004) Game?

Hey, lads..

Completely clueless with https://www.gog.com/game/the_bards_tale game, actually the only game I have problems running.

https://lut.im/wfAkg3TPoM/jFS47A3uaEKihb9k.png - Graphic glitch - Well, that's somehow bereable.

The problem is when you move from there to the next area of the game "Fairyhaunt Woods".

It crashes to desktop, the terminal will just display this:

“./BardTale” terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)

Device:

  Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.10.2-1-ARCH
  DE: Cinnamon 3.2.8
  WM: Muffin
  CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4x 3.8GHz [35.0°C]
  GPU: Gallium 0.4 on AMD PITCAIRN (DRM 2.49.0 / 4.10.2-1-ARCH, LLVM 3.9.1)
client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 17.0.1
OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 17.0.1
OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.1 Mesa 17.0.
  RAM: 1596MiB / 15938MiB

Things that i have tried:

  All settings to low.
Re-download the game and trying different files.
Remove libopenal.so from the game folder.

To no avail.

There are actually quite a few posts on the net regarding this same issue:

     http://askubuntu.com/questions/654135/b … ntel-15-04
     https://www.gog.com/forum/the_bards_tal … ore_dumped

I wasn't able to find an actual solution for this.
It is broken beyond repair? hmm

Maybe try the Windows version under Wine?
