Can't mount any network locations at all?

I don't know exactly when this started happening, but it was recent. Past few months, probably the last time I upgraded all my packages, which was about a month ago. I'm using XFCE.

I can't mount any network folder/drive/whatever at all. At first I noticed Thunar couldn't do it, saying "Operation not supported," but it doesn't work in the command line, either. All of said shares still work--I can browse to them in Firefox just fine. But I can't mount them in Linux by any means.

The shares I'm trying to mount are DAVfs and sshfs (sftp). The DAVfs share actually manages to ask me for my username and password, but once it's time to mount, I get "/sbin/mount.davfs: mounting failed; the server does not support WebDAV". For sshfs, I just get "read: Connection reset by peer".

I have no idea what the cause could be. There's nothing wrong with my firewall settings, and in fact I even tried all of the shares with my firewall disabled with no change. I'm also already a member of the network group.
