Hi everyone,
I have a dm-crypt encrypted /home partition that should be mounted automatically when logging in with GDM as the passwords for the user (I have only one user) and to decrypt the partition are the same.
Everything was working fine till yesterday, however, since today I cannot log into my user from GDM anymore. GDM seems to accept the password, but then it returns to the initial state (the list of system users).
I didn't update neither the PAM package neither GDM.
I read the discussion https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ta … ing_script and applied the fixes, however they didn't solve the problem.
Before yesterday, I didn't have an entry for the /home partition in the /etc/fstab, however from https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dm … g_at_login it seems I should have one, so I added it. This resulted in GDM completely freezed and it didn't give me the possibility of inserting the password.
As a quick fix I log from another tty, open and mount the encrypted partition and then launch the gnome-session.

Ok. I messed up badly with the configuration. I cleaned everything up and now it works.
