Hi,
I have been using arch for a while now on an old laptop. I have recently installed it on my new laptop. I followed the installation guide, I chose grub as my boot loader because it's what I've always used and booted into the main system.
What looked like a warning flashed up in the boot process but I didn't have time to read it. In hindsight I should have checked journalctl but I forgot. I created an account then realised I hadn't installed dialog for WiFi.
I planned to reboot back into the live usb stick and install it and some other things like alsa. When I typed shutdown -h now it hung for a while then I got messages like
INFO: task kworker/0:1:74 blocked for more than 120 secons.

Any ideas what I should do?

After a while, I killed power using the power button. I rebooted into my main system to run journalctl. Here are the warnings and errors from most recent boot

Thanks. I'm now able to shutdown properly. In case anybody finds this, I blacklisted the Nouveau kernel module by changing my /etc/default/grub so the like with the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT now reads this:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet modprobe.blacklist=nouveau"
I am however still getting these errors/warnings in my journalctl

Also please always remember to mark threads as [SOLVED] by editing the original post, once you're happy with the resolution.
About the other messages:
ACPI messages are harmless and only recently exposed to shame board vendors (who usually implement acpi by poking around until it works with their random windows version used for testing) - PCCT warning is because this is a relatively new ACPI feature and not supported by your baord.
systemd-tmpfiles messages say "this filesystem doesn't support COW" - it's a false positive
iwlwifi tries various firmwares until one loads, the error does not indicate a problem per se (as long as some firmware is ultimately loaded)
"deprecated" is for developers and means "please adapt to our new API" ;-)
no idea about uvcvideo, do you have an external GPU?
