Writing this on kernel 4.4.1-2, everything is working out of the box. Using systemd-boot, setting up dual boot with the pre-installed Windows 10 is a breeze. Disabling secure boot is somewhat ambiguous, however. See this.

Booting with grub from UEFI: no problem

Dedicated GPU(nvidia 970m): no problem
HDMI: Video and Audio works out of the box with kde5
sdcard slot: no problem
Touchpad: no problem if change in bios to legacy mode
DVD: no problem
Multimedia keys: no problem with kde5
Camera: did not check yet
Dim display: no problem
Suspend: no problem
Fan control: some work need to be done in this area
Audio: build in speakers works only in mono

Works fine on my hp. I had to follow docs on wiki to get wifi and sound working, but it wasn't anything related to my laptop but Arch itself as I understood. Not sure on battery life though, I only run linux so I can't compare it to others, but it seems to me battery is gets consumed faster then it should.
Plasma uses around 650 megz of RAM when there's nothing running. 1625 is with Chromium, terminal and DeadBeef running, if someone was asking

I'm running on the HP Spectre x360 15. Had a couple of the common issues with audio which are all fixed now. Everything else worked out of the box, other than the orientation sensor which isn't recognised as a device at all. Haven't got around to debugging that yet.

Asus netbook 1005HA-H.
Bought it in 2010, Ditched XP, put Lubuntu on it. Started experimenting with Arch the same year. I'm pretty sure this is only the third new install in 6 years
Oh yeah..everything works, is blazing fast and I really feel that the old Asus netbooks are of exceptional quality!

MSI GE72 2QE Works fine in Arch, not so well with Centos or Debian 8.
The only things that don't work are the web camera, and the MSI special mulitmedia buttons. LED light can be turn up and down, and the fan speed can go to full speed or normal.

I just got a HP Spectre x360 15. Most everything work out of the box; I had to use hdajackretask to fix some audio issues; the mute button LED doesn't work . I'm having a few graphics issues:
I have to use i915.enable_rc6=0 to prevent constant resetting of the graphics chip and other freezes.
My external monitor won't work on HDMI unless I boot with it attached, and X freezes if I unplug HDMI and plug it back in while running
Using xrandr to scale my external monitor down causes slowdown

I finally installed Arch on my Dell XPS 9343.
I backup-ed the whole disk and then I completely wiped out the SSD and installed arch (Secure Boot enabled).
At the moment there are many problems and the most important is lack of proper wireless card support: compared to Win, now I have far less performance and range. i.e. I can't reach my router from a room, while in the same room I was able to reach the router under Win, with the windows driver.
I'm on gnome and it was the right choice but here too there are many improvements needed to compete with Win. e.g. touchpad gesture.
In conclusion, as today (kernel 4.4 and gnome 3.18) we aren't at the Win level but I'm looking forward new version that could enhance our experience!

Installed arch linux on my ASUS n752vx-g132T (UEFI system with gpt partitions).
I've resized the previously installed windows 10, created the /, /data and /data/backups partitions.
Installed the base system and modified grub to see windows which has been set to use UTC.
Added the user.
Initially the fan was running at full speed but after having disabled VT-d from BIOS settings it has started to work properly.
Actually the system hangs when shuting down or rebooting after the "Reached target shutdown".
I've still not installed any graphical environment nor a lot of stuff and configurations but I do not think it is the problem.
I'm still learning English so please excuse me if my English is not good enough and feel free to correct me via PM if you want.

The shutdown hangs were related to nouveau. Blacklisting it has solved the issue.
After some restarts, the fan has started to run at full speed again, but now it works properly (I've alse re enabled VT-d).
Maybe something was wrong a nd asome clear shutdowns have solved the issue, or it will reappear again.
I'm still learning English so please excuse me if my English is not good enough and feel free to correct me via PM if you want.
