The bluetooth adapter is resisting and the fingerprint scanner doesn't appear within the hw list.
But everything else is just great with Archlinux.
[UPDATE]
The bluetooth adapter works perfectly once the bluetooth service is enabled in systemd with
sudo systemd enable bluetooth
sudo systemd start bluetooth

Have issues with GPU, struggling to make either nvidia proprietary or nouveau work, currently only on Intel embedded graphics. Fingerprint sensor is dead weight as well, no software is able to see it. All great otherwise, all else working fine. Using Arch for 6 months so far.

I use a msi gp72mvr 7rfx-631de leopard pro and with a lot of work it is nice to use Arch on it.
Only difficult thing is getting the graphics running smoothly.
I run Arch on a Laptop: msi gp72mvr 7rfx-631de leopard pro.

I'm using the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 i5 with 4GB of ram. Wifi, ethernet, sound, display, bluetooth are all working out of the box. The touchscreen needs some kernel patches, but overall I'm just blown away with the performance compared to the windows 10 installation (I can't get rid of the win10 installation, because Microsoft unfortunately only provides firmware updates through windows update)
Shoutout to all of the great ppl who maintain Arch, been using it for quite a long time on my desktop without any issues.

I'm using ArchLinux for few months now without bigger issue on HP Spectre X360,
only the fingerprint reader doesn't work and two top speakers: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189331;
Other than that, works great!

I just installed Arch on my Surface Go (8GB RAM / 265GB SSD / LTE Modem)
almost everything works out of the box:
- cameras (front/back) won't work at this time
- wifi driver needs some work (replace a single file - see the reddit post on the surface go)
- i have not yet got the lte modem working (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=243022)
battery life is about 4-5h with screen brightness to almost max, watching a live stream and surfing.

Product Name: HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13-ag0xxx (HP Part Number: 4NL23PA#ABG)
- Display works
- Audio works
- Wi-Fi works
- Bluetooth works
- All USB3 ports work
- DVD drive works
- Webcam works
- Touchpad works
- Legacy boot CAN be enabled
- Secure Boot CAN be disabled
- Card reader works
- USB-C port works.
- Almost all hotkeys work (some will need to be manually configured to plasma shortcuts)
- BIOS can be updated outside of Windows
Notes:
- I'll update this once i've tested the remaining components.
- With kernel 4.20.3/4, there's a minor bug with AMDGPU that causes the cursor to disappear near the top of the screen. This can be temporarily fixed with this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AM … corruption and a patch has already been pushed to the kernel: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201815.
- This HP docking station: https://store.hp.com/GermanyStore/Merch … BB&sel=ACC appears to be fully compatible with Linux. I've tested most of the ports and they work fine.

Currently I am still using a 4th generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which started falling apart this year after only three years of - admittedly intense - use.
The hardware support is, unexaggerated, 100% including the LTE card (which I stopped using a year ago in favor of a smartphone hotspot).
I'm also currently waiting for the delivery of its successor, an HP ENVY x360 13-ag0005ng, which unfortunately is stuck for over a week now at Germany's worst parcel service.
Update: After some initial quirks with the touch screen of the HP Envy, everything is now running smoothly.

Lenovo Yoga 920 (4K version).
Everything runs great. Only issue I’ve had is with the fingerprint scanner. I use i3wm as my DE. 4K resolution is definitely a pain in the ass. There’s a lot of tweaking but I’ve got it looking great. I do still have issues with specific application’s text and/or icon size but it’s mostly figured out.

HP Spectre X360 (Late 2017 with the i7-8550U cpu)

- Top speakers not working right out of the box (https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189331)
other than these two issues, arch is working perfectly.

@andresgabriel: how did you set up Nvidia Optimus for the 1050Ti? For my machine (Dell XPS 15 9570) it is quite an involved one it works in the end but it requires a lot of bash black sorcery...

Lenovo Legion Y530-15ICH (Intel i7-8750H, Nvidia 1050 Ti). Working perfectly fine with Bumblebee. Fan speed might need adjustment, they tend to preemptively fire up sometimes and it gets a bit loud (still investigating how to safely adjust their speed).

My first post: I found no information about this laptop here so far, so here it goes:
Arch Linux runs just fine on LG Gram 17 (17ZD990-VX5BK), the only modification required is to set pci=nommconf as kernel boot parameter, else it will show ACPI errors. The advice comes from here.
What works:
intel-vga and brightness control via FN key (using xbindkeys to send xbacklight -inc 10)
wifi and bluetooth, both connected by the time startx executes dwm (within a second)
sleep: resumes just fine, including wifi and bluetooth
trackpad: no setup needed, works out of the box
audio out: speakers and headphone jack, both together and separately, mixed with alsamixer
keyboard backlight: it does not require any drivers or setup, seems to be strictly hardware controlled
What does not work yet:
audio in: so far I could not get the internal mic to work, have not tried the jack yet, which supports headset with mic, but the mic next to the webcam does not work yet, despite being enabled in alsamixer
webcam: almost never use it, so I have not even checked the wiki/forums yet
fingerprint sensor: I did use it a lot to login to Windows, but I have not had time to check how to install under Arch yet
Notes
Battery life is absolutely amazing, 8-12 hours based on my testing. It is already good in Windows, though the CPU runs more there, therefore the fans as well. Under Arch while doing average work, e.g. 30 browser tabs, with several spreadsheets and PDFs open the fans almost never even turn on in Arch. So far the only times the fans turn on is when compiling stuff, e.g. from aur.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will update the post if I can think of anything else worth mentioning.
