Please do not use expiring pastebins unless you have no other choice -- they severely limit the long-term usefulness of a topic. For such little output, you can just post it directly to the forums, between code tags. EDIT: Please post the full output, and not just the part you think is relevant.

Well, I don't know anything about signal, but your error message says, you're having a locale problem and your system is missing the nodejs module "nan". The latter seems to be the root of your compile problems. nodejs-nan seems to be gone, therefor I'd report that as a bug to the package maintainer for Signal.

If you want to solve the problem yourself, it should be possible to install nan using npm somehow.

Please always first attempt to build with officially supported tools before requesting help.  Run `makepkg` not `yaourt` or whatever command you actually used.

On a different note, if you report anything to the maintainer, you should suggest they add a checksum.  They are skipping checksums for no reason.
