WiFi connects quickly only after reboot

Hi,

when I boot my PC and log into openbox then WiFi takes about 70 seconds to connect. My smartphone and notebook (with Xubuntu) connect quickly. When I reboot my PC then WiFi connects quickly, too.

My Setup: Arch 64bit, Network-Manager, NM-Applet, driver rt2800usb, 5GHz. IPv6 is ignored. I checked the option that all users can use this network.

I had this problem with my former Arch-system (Broadcom module), too.

Update: I could optimize it a little bit. Thanx to GloriousEggroll on Youtube (Video-ID MAi9DurTRQc). I disabled dhcpcd@en....service, dhcpcd@wl....service and netctl-auto@wl....service. Then I created a netctl profile via wifi-menu. Now it needs about 30 seconds to connect after a boot. After a reboot it still connects immediately.

Not solved, but better. If I find a solution then I will post it here.

I disabled dhcpcd@en....service, dhcpcd@wl....service and netctl-auto@wl....service. Then I created a netctl profile via wifi-menu. Now it needs about 30 seconds to connect after a boot. After a reboot it still connects immediately.

What does the systemd journal say about the delay (if anything)?

Perhaps there are still conflicting .services, please post the full output of:

systemctl list-unit-files --state=enabled

These commands may help narrow down the problem:

systemd-analyze blame
systemd-analyze critical-chain

Thanks for the hints. But I didn't get a e-mail notification about your reply. Strange.

Problem solved. My Fritz Wlan Stick is buggy.

A few weeks ago I got errors like "ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00usb_vendor_request: error ... -22" during shutdown.
First I thougt that it could be something with the driver. But then I got errors telling me that something was wrong with sr1 while booting.

I put in an old tp-link and everything works perfectly.
