sharepoint folder: gvfs-mount OK, mount davfs KO (ntlm challenge)

Hi,

At work they now use sharepoint to share folders, I'm able to connect with nautilus ( davs://sites.myentreprise.fr/site/the/folder ) but I can't connect using mount (the aim is to use fstab), I tried

sudo mount.davfs //sites.myentreprise.fr/site/the/folder /home/myusername/Shares/the-folder/
and using
sudo mount -t dvfs https://sites.myentre
sudo mount -t dvfs
_netdev option

I always have this error "Could not authenticate to server: rejected NTLM challenge"

password and username are ok

Some ideas ?

Thanks

Re: sharepoint folder: gvfs-mount OK, mount davfs KO (ntlm challenge)

No one else has had a crack at this for you but I have found CNTLM handy in the past when dealing with Windows proxies and it might be useful here as well.  yaourt tells me it is available in the AUR but I've only ever used it on Gentoo ...

Also a quick Google found this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/279810/ … buntu-12-1 from 2013.

I'm not familiar with davfs but if NTLM auth needs special handling then a note here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Davfs2 (even on the Discussion page if you are not familiar with wikis) will go down well once you get it sorted.

Cheers
Jon
