x0vncserver extremely slow on LAN without connected monitor

Hey guys. I had a separate machine running x0vncserver without any issues. I connected to it and it was smooth. I could see the speed of it as I had a monitor connected to it at the time. Now, when I moved the machine, only having power and ethernet connected to it, it runs extremely slow, even though it runs on the same network. I noticed the resolution now shrinked to HD, probably because there's no monitor connected to it. Even though running the following to declare a resolution:

x0vncserver -display :0 -geometry 1920x1080 -rfbport 5900 -passwordfile /my/path/to/password/passwd

Any ideas? The biggest thing that bugs me is the slowness of the connection, even though the server and client are on LAN.
