Connecting to IBM Softlayer VPN

I need to connect to the IBM SoftLayer VPN in order to SSH into a virtual server. However, I can't seem to get any of the VPN clients to work. There are a few Linux clients available here, but I can't get any of the standalone clients to work. I tried running one of the distro-specific binaries, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any experience connecting to SoftLayer VPN from an Arch install?
