Chromium and Opera will not play Facebook videos.

So far it looks like only Facebook is affected. Youtube plays fine. All I get when I click on a facebook video, is a static picture with the play button in the middle. If I click it again, it reloads and show the same static picture.

Not sure where to start looking for what the problem can be. Searching here and on google haven't come up with any answers, nor does it seems like may others have this problem.

I have tested in Windows, and in Ubuntu, and there it works as expected.

When opening Opera from the terminal, I get the following errors/warnings. It's the same both with an old and a new profile.

Looked at https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=235643 for the fontconfig errors, but it didn't look like there was a conclusion on what the problem was. Not sure if it actually is related to the non playing Facebook videos either.

The pc in general seems to be working fine.

EDIT: Testing Chromium with a fresh profile works just fine. So I turned off uBlock and uMatrix for Facebook, still the same problem. But disabling both completely worked. So guess that was the problem then. For Opera it could be the built in ad blocker that is causing problems.

Also tried clearing browsing data, but didn't help. Will try clearing shader cache.

EDIT: Removing shader cache, or any of the other caches didn't have any effect.
