Hi. I have an Arch VM on Vultr with 3 different IP addresses.
I have dhcpcd take care of the primary IP setup, however trying to assign the 2 additional IPs is a nightmare.
doing a simple "ip addr add xxx.xx.xxx.xx/32 dev eth0" works fine to set up the ip addresses and I can even use/ping them from within. However, I can't ping them from the outside world. I have the same setup on Debian but through "/etc/network/interfaces" and it works fine. What am I missing here ?
Thanks!

Solved.
The cause was Vultr's snapshotting feature which misses up the new created VM from a previous snapshot.

Sorry, still not solved !
Vultr provides additional IP address without gateways, and to add insult to injury, these additional IPs are on a totally different networks/subnets.
Main IP is /23
Additional IPs are /32
Any help in this #%#@% situation is really appreciated.

SOLVED.
For any future searchers, Vultr's VPSs HAVE TO BE REBOOTED FROM VULTR'S WEB DASHBOARD.
It is not enough to reboot the VPS from within itself after buying/assigning the new IP.
This cost me more than 12 hours in troubleshooting and searching the web.
