Postfix-mysql problem [Solved]

I'm having trouble getting postfix with mysql to run properly. I followed the guide that has been posted on wiki.archlinux.org but that guide doesn't seem to be the issue, but it seems that this problem is related to something in the archlinux package postfix-mysql.

Anyone know how to solve this, or atleast why this is happening?
This happens when I try to test the server by telneting to it:

Any chance you're using the (largely broken) mysql 5.0.23-1 ?
If you do, then I know no better solution than downgrading to 5.0.22-1
It's a mysql bug, not an Arch one- factly, that mysql version has several severe bugs.

Yeah I am using the 5.0.23-1 from the current repo. Still compiling the downgrade though so I'll be back with some feedback on how it went when it's done and tested.

Okey, I'm now running the 5.0.22 but unfortunatly that did not solve the problem.

Any other ideas?

Within that line the error is. It was due to the fact that some librarys and such had been updated whilst the postfix-mysql hadn't been recompiled to meet these new dependencys or whatever you want to call them. Simple as that, I just got the pkgbuild file for postfix-mysql and remade the package and voila, it works like a charm!
