Cannot login gnome after upgrading accountsservice to 0.6.53-1

I did a full upgrade, and found I could not login gnome. Then I checked "systemctl status gdm.service" and found some failure about login. So I downgraded accountsservice to 0.6.50-1, everything works fine now.
Anyone having similar issue?
Will do a quick test and post some log messages later.

ps. I don't think the tracker-miner segment fault is related to this issue. Cuz I also tried downgrading tracker and tracker-miner, the segment fault was gone, but did not help with this issue.
Probably another bug?

I can mostly confirm this bug. I get exactly the same bug after upgrade to 0.6.53-1, and it prevents me from logging into GNOME (but not Deepin or Cinnamon). If I downgrade it to 0.6.50, I can use GNOME again.

Before proceeding, please make appropriate backup.

Remove new directory created by accountsservices

# rm -rf /var/lib/accountsservice 

Then create symbolic link to old directory

# ln -sf /var/lib/AccountsService  /var/lib/accountsservice

Now either reboot or restart gdm.service and accounts-daemon.service.

I hope it's not inappropriate to make this quick off topic remark, but thank you mmarzantowicz!  Your hint here helped me figure out why a previously hidden user was appearing in GDM again.  I've updated the English entry for GDM on the wiki to reflect the lower case directory.  Other than that, though, the upgrade to accountsservice 0.6.53 hasn't caused any issues with my gnome install.

Actually, you may need to revise this Wiki page once again because it looks like in 0.6.54 paths has been fixed upstream to use mixed case (as it was before 0.6.53). This is due to some issues in meson build scripts that are now fixed. My workaround should not be needed anymore.

Confirming that accountsservice 06.54 fixes the problem. It affected xfce also. I deleted the now-unused /var/lib/accountsservice tree.
