Postfix bounce error

We are receiving the following bounce when emailing 1 particular domain. It happens with mails of differing size and senders. The error message is:-

lost connection with mail.******.****[**.**.***.***] while sending message body)

At the time ofthe error TcpDump shows:-

their domain > our domain 421 Error: timeout exceeded

I have increased the postfix smtp timeouts but I still continue to have
problems. Is there anything else I can try?

Re: Postfix bounce error

Is it experienced when you try to send to them?
Try telnet'ing to their mailserver directly and issuing a few smtp commands. See if their server just does not respond in a timely fashion.

If that is the only server you have trouble sending to, I would imagine it is a configuration on their end (either firewall, rbl, or something particular to their configuration of their daemon).
