Hello,
i just updated my Arch and now my Thesis wont compile anymore when using biber... According to the Tex-Forums, reinstalling texlive/biblatex and biber should help, but it did not.
I think my biblatex is just to "new" ist there a way to downgrade or get it somehow else running?
This is the ouput:
Process started
INFO - This is Biber 2.12 INFO - Logfile is 'BA_Isensee.blg' INFO - Reading 'BA_Isensee.bcf' ERROR - Error: Found biblatex control file version 3.4, expected version 3.5. This means that your biber (2.12) and biblatex (3.11) versions are incompatible. See compat matrix in biblatex or biber PDF documentation. INFO - ERRORS: 1
Process exited with error(s)The date of submitting is quite soon, so i hope that this is not tooo off topic
Greetings.

Hex, thanks for the Answer.
The code line that fixed the propblem is:
sudo pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/b/biber/biber-2.11-2-any.pkg.tar.xzSo just downgrade the biber package to the last version

Great! Just remember that partial upgrades aren't supported, so after you submit your thesis you may want to open a new thread and try to fix the issue rather than just throwing a band-aid on it
Also remember to mark this thread as solved! CoC

You might just file a bugreport for this.

Is it not already covered by the reopening of 60844?
