bluetooth hw detected but no service

Hi. I am on zen kernel and it detects the bluetooth hardware:

~ dmesg | grep -i blue
[ 4.564125] Bluetooth: Core ver 2.22
[ 4.564159] Bluetooth: HCI device and connection manager initialized
[ 4.564164] Bluetooth: HCI socket layer initialized
[ 4.564167] Bluetooth: L2CAP socket layer initialized
[ 4.564175] Bluetooth: SCO socket layer initialized
[ 4.634803] Bluetooth: hci0: read Intel version: 370810011003110e32
[ 4.634805] Bluetooth: hci0: Intel device is already patched. patch num: 32

~ rfkill
ID TYPE DEVICE SOFT HARD
 0 bluetooth hci0 unblocked unblocked
 1 wlan phy0 unblocked unblocked

~ sudo lshw
...
              *-usb:1
                   description: Bluetooth wireless interface
                   vendor: Intel Corp.
                   physical id: 7
                   bus info: usb@1:7
                   version: 0.01
                   capabilities: bluetooth usb-2.00
                   configuration: driver=btusb maxpower=100mA speed=12Mbit/s
...

I think I've also installed all the needed software:

bluedevil 1:5.14.3-1
blueman 2.0.6-1
bluez 5.50-3
bluez-firmware 1.2-9
bluez-hid2hci 5.50-3
bluez-qt 5.52.0-1
bluez-utils 5.50-3

Nonetheless I cannot make it work under Plasma/KDE.
The settings say there's no adapter.
Any idea?

TIA.

Re: bluetooth hw detected but no service

I read that wiki page, especially the troubleshooting section.
But got no help at all:

This article or section is out of date.
Reason: Replace hciconfig with newer commands.

So I have tried with those tools that are available.
For example, blueman-adapters simply fails as

[support@Newton ~] blueman-adapters
/usr/bin/blueman-adapters:10: PyGIWarning: Pango was imported without specifying a version first. Use gi.require_version('Pango', '1.0') before import to ensure that the right version gets loaded.
  from gi.repository import Pango
blueman-adapters version 2.0.6 starting

    message, timeout)
dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying

Then I've installed bluez-hciconfig from the AUR and I've just cont a confirmation that the hardware is there:

But I cannot make it work with Plasma/KDE: settings stil lsay there's no adapter at all, despite the Bluetooth service is running.
I have another Archlinux box with a USB bluetooth adapter and it works like a charm!
I suspect is something related to this specific hardware but have really no idea on where to start to troubleshoot.

Re: bluetooth hw detected but no service

yea then you will need to give some info about the adapter, be verbose

Should I report this issue to the linux-bluetooth mailing list, or is it too "dev" for such an issue?
Any hint?
