Hi all.
Despite I have setup "ulimit -c unlimited" at login, when a process dies with "Core dump" diagnostics I cannot find the core file in any place.
What am I missing?

Wooow! I've lost a lot of details lately.
Thanks.
It looks there's no reliable way to delete core dumps from the journal without the risk of deleting other useful stuff.
I hope I am wrong.
Any extra hint for this?
In the meanwhile, I've studied a little bit the "man 5 core" and have changed the default behavior by setting
sudo sysctl kernel.core_pattern=%e.coreThe actual effect I've got is that now the cores are dumped in my CWD as (for example) "myprog.core.14242" with PID no. appended.
This is compliant with the documentation (man 5 core "Naming of core dump files").
