vpnc problem - RTNETLINK answers: file exists

Hello, I'm having problems connecting to my corporate network using vpnc:

[root@Estragon ~]# vpnc vpnc.conf
Enter password for kost@XX.XX.XX.XX
(password entered here, accepted)
RTNETLINK answers: File exists
VPNC started in background (pid: 6801)...
[root@Estragon ~]#

After that, ifconfig reports the tun0 device that has an internal IP assigned but the network itself doesn't work.

vpnc version - 0.3.3-3 (tried with prev versions with same result).

Any help appreciated,
