You've just do a fresh installation of your Arch Linux and now it's time to make your distribution look more funny/pretty/easy/cool/useful/what_you_want...
So, after an Arch installation, what do you do? What are the first files you edit? What are needed configurations?

well, straight after fresh install i configure my locales with locale-gen and set it also in /etc/profile. /etc/pacman.conf then gets a single server from germany coz i live here and then xorg and wm/de gets installed. oh and configuring X with hwd is one step too.
cheers,

I always start by getting all of my console stuff (stuff that doesn't require X) setup and working. Only then, after all the console stuff is working, I install X and my favorite X apps.
