Intel Wireless 8265 unstable connection / package loss

Hello. I usually don't resort to forums - but I purchased a NUC and still trying to figure this out before the return period grace.

It came with an intel wireless card - the speed is fine, but every 4 mins or so, it loses connection for ~45s.

$ lspci | egrep -i 'network|ethernet'
Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (rev 78)
$ uname -a
Linux  5.0.13-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 5 18:05:41 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ dmesg | grep iwlwifi
[    2.197397] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
[    2.205576] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: loaded firmware version 36.9f0a2d68.0 op_mode iwlmvm
[    2.284955] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: Detected Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 8265, REV=0x230
[    2.346665] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0: base HW address: 7c:2a:31:c7:fa:51
[    2.447665] iwlwifi 0000:06:00.0 wlp6s0: renamed from wlan0

Not sure where to go from here.

Re: Intel Wireless 8265 unstable connection / package loss

The similar issue I discovered with Dell Latitude 5280 and the same wireless card. Probably the problem is kernel > 5.0.0 module. When I changed to the kernel 4.19.49 wifi card has stopped losing connection.

Please see https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=203577

Does your issue match the symptoms there?
