what's wrong with Lisa ? [SOLVED]

nothing to do with the Simpsons... wink
lisa daemon doesn't seem to work. when i try to access other computers on the network in kde, i get a an error message (lisa is not started, but it is). why that ?

This is an old thread, but anyway...
control center > Internet & network > Local network browsing > LISa daemon > Setup wizard, then click "apply" and you now have a working /etc/lisarc (which was the reason it didn't activate the lisa daemon in the first place, even though the status of the lisa daemon show DONE instead of FAIL.)

better later than never !
i must admit i forgot about that one. your post made try again, and eventually, i've been able to connect to my virtual vmware-serverised windows. it took me a bit more than what you suggested (i already tried the wizard before i started this thread) : i add to choose the proper (virtual) network adapter, and add windows ip to the trusted IP list.

thanks anyway pelle.k it's nice to see people care about old threads !
