symbolic links in samba

i set up samba to access my win xp on vmware-server.
in my linux home folder, i have 2 symbolic links leading to my old windows xp partitions (NOT the vmware windows xp ; real, separated, read-only mounted NTFS partitions).
when browsing my linux home folder from windows, these symbolic links appear as folders with weird names. they work, though.
is there a way to get them displayed with their correct names ??
