If I set keyboard layout via /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-keyboard.conf then it just doesn't work but if I set layouts via setxkbmap then my "Enter" key works with "Shift" held down only.

/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-keyboard.conf
Section "InputClass"
Identifier "keyboard-all"
Driver "evdev"
Option "XkbLayout" "us,ru"
Option "XkbOptions" "grp:shift_toggle"
MatchIsKeyboard "on"
EndSectionI create such a file but holding both shift keys doesn't change the layout.

Is this literal? In case:
grep "grp:.*toggle" /usr/share/X11/xkb/rules/base.lstIf it's a typo in the forum, xorg log, "setxkbmap -print -query" (before you customize it in the session), "loginctl session-status".
If you use a DM instead of xinit/startx, can you still change the layout in the DM?

xkb_keymap {
xkb_keycodes { include "evdev+aliases(qwerty)" };
xkb_types { include "complete" };
xkb_compat { include "complete" };
xkb_symbols { include "pc+us+ru:2+inet(evdev)+group(shifts_toggle)" };
xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc105)" };
};
rules: evdev
model: pc105
layout: us,ru
options: grp:shift_toggleI use startx
Setting grp:shifts_toggle doesn't help
I know for a fact it worker before, I just copied config from gentoo wiki

Does any other toggle work?
