Hello, I am new to Linux, specially to Arch Linux. I used another distro before which I have to change for some reason. My broadband service provides DSL connection. It usually takes creating a new Dial Up Connection under settings in Windows 10, and connecting to that. On the previous distro I used, I could connect to that connection using the network-manager graphically. But I cannot connect to it using the xfce4-network-manager on Arch. While installing Arch, I used "pppd call <provider>", I also had to change default route using
ip rou ....", but after installation finished, I cannot even connect using that. And I really want to connect graphically using nm-applet. Please help! ^_^ I am using XFCE4 DE.

Welcome to the boards, Shafquat
We need some more actually tangible information. What does I cannot connect using that mean? If it worked on the install ISO it should work on the live system, if it doesn't work you should be posting logs and error messages (within [ code ] [ /code ] tags without the spaces) What did you set up with regards to networkmanager? Did you see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … SL_support ?
Which instructions did you follow to install Arch?

Thank you. I followed Arch official installation guide linked below-
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Installation_guide
I used this guide to connect to my DSL connection for internet
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ppp
Then when I ping 8.8.8.8 or ping archlinux.org it was showing some error saying unknown host (cannot remember properly), so I followed this:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=147555
This worked fine till installation, but after installation, when I tried connecting via nm-applet it refused to connect to DSL Connection.
When I run nmcli m, it shows these
enp2s0f1: using connection 'DSL connection 1'
enp2s0f1: connecting (configuring)
enp2s0f1: connecting (getting IP configuration)
enp2s0f1: connection failed
enp2s0f1: disconnected

NetworkManager requires an additional package and some customization to work with a PPPoE dial-up connection.
Check https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … SL_support .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
